In 2001, Amarjit Cheema opened India Garden in Mishawaka, Indiana, bringing the food of his native Punjab to the Michiana area. Twenty-five years later, it's still family-run, the Cheemas travel back to Punjab regularly to keep the recipes and standards exactly where they should be.
